Steel Cut Oats with Cinnamon, Bananas and Walnuts


This recipe provides a low calorie meal with no added sugars, the bananas and cinnamon are enough to enhance the flavor naturally! With added BariClear you can double the amount of protein intake for a usually low protein meal!

  • Steel cut oats
  • cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 banana
  • 5 walnuts
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
  • BariClear*



Take the oats out of the pot and pour into a resealable container. Combine a cup of oats, a teaspoon of cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice (includes nutmeg, cloves, and ginger), half a banana (sliced), about 5 chopped walnuts, and a quarter cup of almond milk, or your milk of choice.

*You may also add a quarter to half a scoop of BariClear and mix it in before you microwave (adds 8-12 grams of protein)! Place in the microwave for a minute, stir, and enjoy!
